Stay at Home

| |

The Movement Control Order (MCO) has been extended until 14th April 2020. It was first enforced by the government on the 18th of March 2020 for 2 weeks. Most of the people scared and panicked. Some of them started to do 'panic-buying' when it was first became hit of Covid-19 second wave.

I still remembered the day I went to my last class on Wednesday. It was on the  11th of March 2020. At the time, the news about the Covid-19 was everywhere on TV and I could see some people were really aware and concern about it. Ironically, I was started to feel scary and worry that when I had to go to UMS for the next day on Thursday to get my report of PD I straight away went to the office with the hope that I did not take much time for me to be there. Unfortunately, the person I dealt with was not around and I had to come back for the next day.

I did not want to come back on the next day. Hahahaha.

I just wanted to stay at home and did not have any plan to come to UMS for the time since I did not have class next week after. But I had to. Then, I went to UMS on Friday and got my report of PD. I was with my parents and my brother. We went to Tg Aru afterwards, bought 'Cendol' and 'Cucur' then straight away went home. While we were there at Tg Aru, I could see people lined-up at the counter with their trolley filled and full of foods. It was actually 'panic-buying'. That night, the news about it went aired. It happened when there was one case of positive Covid-19 announced by the official state. Then only I recalled the incident at the supermarket at Sunny, Tq. Aru I saw earlier.

Only then, I have been at home for 15 days and still counting at this MCO period.

So what I have been doing while at home?

Well, nothing much. The first one week was more on adapting to the current situation. I am sure everyone was shocked and frightened a bit. However, things got better from days to days. Everyone is praying hard with the hope all will fine and back to the normal.

As a Muslim, I pray to Allah S.W.T that this pandemic will be over very soon. May Allah S.W.T protects us at this world from any harms or diseases.

Allah The Most Gracious and Great, protects and bless us.
